During my time at Tiny Love, a global leader in developmental baby products, I led the design of its Boho Chic Luxe Developmental Gymini—a product created to support early childhood development through sensory-rich play, wrapped in a warm, bohemian-inspired aesthetic.
Inspired by the mood board I created while designing our new home, this piece reflects my personal vision of a space that’s calming and full of natural textures. I worked closely with our illustrator and engineer to bring this vision to life—combining artistic detail with smart functionality.
The goal was to create a developmental product that parents would love to display as part of their living environment — not hide away when guests come over.
The design draws directly from the earthy tones, woven textures, and cozy layers I explored in my own home’s interior planning. I translated my boho mood board into a baby-friendly product: soft neutral palettes, natural wood touches, gentle tassels, and hand-drawn patterns that create a sense of calm. At the same time, I integrated developmentally appropriate elements like high-contrast textures, crinkle fabric, and repositionable toys that help babies grow while staying aligned with the visual language of the modern home.
Several of the detachable toys were inspired by the botanical elements I envisioned for my home.
This baby mat was designed to complement carpets in homes similar to mine: neutral, calm, aesthetic.
Included with this product are monthly milestone cards designed in collaboration with a child psychologist.
The two-sided cards incorporate photos with developmental insights and tips.
Blending materials to merge worlds — wood’s warmth meets plastic’s versatility
This product was just the beginning! Its success sparked the creation of our full Boho Chic Collection, featuring many more thoughtfully designed baby products.
